The deep sides flaring towards the rim, painted in inky shades of blue with a central medallion enclosing a luohan seated on a rock beside a cliff, trees, and further rockwork, the cavetto decorated with vines issuing lotus blossoms. The reverse with six evenly dispersed lotus sprays, framed by double lines to the rim and foot.Provenance: New York trade.Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and firing flaws including pitting.
