Copeland Potteries Stoke upon Trent, Staffordshire England c. 1881 These large Victorian 10 " dinner plates are transfer printed in dark black against a white background and further enhanced with bright blue, red, golden yellow and turquoise. The pattern features a border of geometric designs with fancy scrolls and daisy flowers cascading into the well of the piece. A fabulous central image of an oversized exotic flower finishes off this great plate. The pattern displays the Victorian eras love of nature and the exotic.
