TWO LARGE HARDSTONE BI DISCSChina, 20th century. Both of circular form with a central aperture drilled from both sides to form an encircling ridge. One of icy-white color with russet areas, carved to both sides with four dragons around an inner square enclosing characters of ‘The twelve Earthly Branches’ and concentrical interrupted circles around the central opening. The second of brown colored stone, carved with central calligraphy representing good fortune within a pair of stylized phoenixes and floral scroll.Condition: Good condition with some wear and minor surface scratches.
