A MINIATURE BRONZE BUDDHA, QING DYNASTYChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The buddha seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, his right hand lowered in bhumisparsa mudra, the left in dhyana mudra and holding an alms bowl, dressed in loose robes draped over the shoulders, and the hair arranged in tight curls. Condition: Overall good condition with minor surface wear, some casting irregularities, surface scratches, nicks here and there. Part of the ushnisha missing. Provenance: Estate of an Austrian collector, the collection was assembled in the 1980s – 1990s through purchases at Galerie Zacke and other specialized galleries in Vienna.
