Of ovoid shape, painted in underglaze cobalt blue depicting scholars and an attendant standing underneath a pavilion, amidst craggy rockwork and bamboo. With a matching porcelain cover with a reclining scholar painted in underglaze blue. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and firing irregularities.
