AN INDIAN MINIATURE PAINTING OF A PRINCESS AND ATTENDANTSIndia, Punjab Hills, first half of the 20th century. Gouache, ink, watercolors, and gold color on paper. Painted with visible relief, depicting a princess surrounded by her attendants. The princess is sitting on a palace terrace, leaning against a big cushion, admiring herself in a mirror, held by one of her attendants while one is taking care of the princess’s child, and another one is carrying a bowl. The central image is framed by a red border.Condition Good condition with minor wear, minuscule losses, and staining.
