A PALE CELADON JADE 'BASKET WEAVE' SNUFF BOTTLE, MID-QING DYNASTY
China, 18th-19th century. Well hollowed, the flattened spherical body supported on a slightly concave foot and rising to a short cylindrical neck, intricately carved with a basket-weave pattern in high relief, the neck left plain. The translucent stone is of a rather pale celadon tone with cloudy inclusions.

: The property of a gentleman in London, United Kingdom. Bonhams London, 5 November 2020, lot 233. A private collection in France, acquired from the above.

: Excellent condition with minor old wear.

清代中期青白玉竹籃紋鼻煙壺

中國，十八至十九世紀。壺為整料青白玉掏製而成，壺體質地溫潤，包漿清亮。通體雕琢緻密竹籃紋，整體形同一竹籃造型，其紋飾井井有條，打磨精細，精練傳神，於線條匯聚處圓潤凸起，繁簡相間，疏密有致。
