说明：信书写于禹贡学会专用笺纸上，并言及“中国学院如常当此艰局，吾辈书生自无进境可言也”，当时应为1937年日本侵华时期，信中讨论了“全中国、中亚细压、南洋等地图的名称问题，可看做有相当文献价值。
作者简介：上款人于鹤年（1901-1975），天津人，民国著名学者，史学家，曾任《南开日刊》编辑，著作等身，是华北地区一代鸿儒名士。赵贞信（1902—1989），原名云端，字肖甫，富阳里山镇下街（今里山乡金星村）人。1937年，赵任北京中国大学国学系讲师，并兼“禹贡学会”。抗日战争期间，任成都四川大学副教授。胜利后，转北京辅仁大学中文系。
