提要：晋昌郡开国公唐邕写经记碑。写经碑通高415厘米，上部造像毁损，碑文高165厘米，宽100厘米，计20行，行34字，记述了唐邕刻经的缘起、刻经的内容和刻经的起止时间以及写经和刻经人“海收经籍，斯文必传，山从水火，此方无坏……诸法为祖，诸经亦王，一文半偈，与物行藏……杀青有缺，韦编有绝，一托贞坚，永垂昭晢”的心愿。石壁上大规模镌刻佛经在中国最早始于北响堂山石窟，“眷言法宝，是所归依”，开创这一历史的唐邕亦被举为刻经第一人。
