提要：此碑为李斯所书小篆，无原石拓本传世，原石立于山东邹县，佚失已久，邹县重刻宋元祐八年张文仲刻石，立邹县峄阴堂，石残损。元至元廿五刘之美据张文仲刻，又重立于邹县峄阴堂，今仍存。刘之美刻拓本乾隆间拓本下截稍有漫漶但未伤字，近拓漫漶已甚。《峄山碑》线条圆润流畅，结构对称均衡，形体清瘦修长，风格精致典雅，可谓一派贵族风范。加之该碑笔法严谨，端庄工稳，临写尤其能强化手腕“提”的功能，增强“中锋”意识，因而不失为学书入门的最佳范本。
