|何如璋（1838-1891），字子峨，广东大埔县人，我国早期杰出的外交家，中日两国正式邦交的开创者。咸丰十一年（1861年）中举，同治七年（1868年）中进士，并被选为庶起士，散馆后授职翰林院编修。光绪三年（1877年），何如璋得李鸿章推荐，晋升为翰林院侍讲，加二品顶戴，充出使日本大臣，成为中国首任驻日公使。
