此山子，石质坚硬素雅，浑厚美观，石质天成，其精雕红木座刻铭文“终南山太乙近天都，连山接海隅。白云回望合，青霭入看无。分野中峰变，阴晴众壑殊。阮元。”并带原配老木盒。铭文者简介：阮元（1764-1849），字伯元，号云台、雷塘庵主，晚号怡性老人，扬州仪征人。清代嘉庆、道光间名臣。他是著作家、刊刻家、思想家，在经史、数学、天算、舆地、编纂、金石、校勘等方面都有着非常高的造诣，被尊为一代文宗。注：此件曾为阮元收藏。
