这把“荷塘清趣”薄胎壶用整块青玉精心琢磨而成，器型典雅大方，玉壶造型线条皆十分简洁流畅。壶身表面以浮雕技法雕饰“荷塘清趣图”，两尾小鱼，一枝垂柳，数点浮萍，以刀代笔，画面工整雅致，如一幅白描小景。整器造型洗练却无以增减，宝珠为钮，并饰以蕉叶如意纹，薄胎掏膛均匀，再三观之韵味无穷，起线造型隐见大师泰斗之大气雄浑，令整件作品流露出浓郁的文人气韵。范栋强：中国青年玉石雕艺术家
