铭文：砚侧：万岁不败。上端：万岁。 |提要：砖质系澄泥所为!为秦汉时建筑用砖、坚固而扣之音声清雅，古有“铅砖”之美喻，其文字若篆非篆，若隶非隶，笔势舒张，粗犷奔放，经千百年自然泌浊，更显瘦劲古雅。|考：万岁之称，始见于周代；邵虎受封时称：“虎拜稽首，天子万年。”此砚大气厚重，砖质以精炼澄泥为之，青苍密实，细腻温润，储水不枯，易于发墨，朴茂有致，书法精美，高古朴雅，置于书房案头令人心生喜欢，万岁吉祥。|说明：附一朱一墨拓片。
