Victor Gramophone, Model M (Monarch), with beautiful original oak horn. The Victor M is an ornate gramophone, with carved oak side elements. It was originally sold from 1902 – 1905. The original oak spear tip horn is hand fabricated in the US using three layers of quarter-sawn oak veneer. The Victor trademark, Nipper the dog, is clearly visible on the front of the gramophone (identification plate). With a 10 inch turntable and powered by a double spring hand crank motor, it can play several records on one winding. The Gramophone is also known by the corporate name, The Victor Talking Machine Co. Includes records and needles. Made in New Jersey, USA at the Victor Talking Machine Factory. In its heyday, Victor was a Dow Jones 30 Industrial Company. Cabinet is 13“ wide, 13” deep. Horn is 26” long, and 22” wide at its maximum point.
