|黄杨木纹理致密，色泽雅致，却生长不易，通常没有大材。明晚期以来，有鉴于其纹理与色泽独具一格，被选为案头文玩的用材之一。小杯黄杨木整挖制作而成，杯身起线，花口，花茎翻卷杯底而成杯足，具有典型古时文人自然之意趣。此件色泽莹润雅致，陈置几案，仔细端详，方寸之间，刀法方圆兼用，虚实相交，线条抑扬顿挫，恰到好处，宛若天成。|汤寅，字东父，室曰：小琴隐园，江苏常州人，清代著名文人画家汤贻汾嫡系后人。|备注：“东父”款
