Chinese Qing Dynasty Famille Verte & Iron Red Porcelain Vase with a series of 8 shaped windows well painted with birds and flowers in wucai enamels, one large window with a grasshopper and iron red seals; the background in powdered iron red enamel; base in clear glaze. Age related wear to enamels and gold highlights, re-stuck chip to mouth, short hairline from mouth in iron red background area, approximately 1 inch of mouth edge restored. Height 15 3/4 inches (40 cm.). PROVENANCE: From a New York Collection formed in the 1960's.
