旧拓本 2张提要：《东坡志林》载，唐代四川雷氏祖孙三代均以造琴为业，自开元以至开成间世有人。据陈拙《琴书》所列顺序，雷霄为雷家第一代斫琴人。元代《西湖志》载，西湖葛岭玛瑙寺高僧芳洲有古琴二，一名石上枯，一名蕤宾铁。元曲家高明曾赋诗曰：“奇琴久蓄款识古，云是零陵水边石上之枯桐。……隔水逋仙夜不眠，听尽梅花山月影。”可见此琴音色绝美。“石上枯”现为天一阁博物馆所藏。
