款识：『宣德』二字单行篆书款 说明 来源：印尼雅加达藏家旧藏说明：此炉庄重沉稳，法度严谨，整体和谐。口沿平整，其颈略收，其腹圆丰不腴，腹部对饰象耳，象鼻弯卷成鋬，造型生动写实，匠心独运。底足略高且微敞。底心方框内铸『宣德』二字篆书阳文款，款识深峻，修刀工整，底平字正，度量严谨。整器形制规整，线条圆熟朴拙，敦厚之中不失灵巧。所蕴枣皮古色，皮色熟旧，沉凝温润，通体光泽，视之丰腴，铜质密细沉重，包浆自然醇厚，音韵悠扬，实乃珍品。杨炳珍先生《金玉青烟》中著录有一件象耳铜炉，下连铜质器座，但皆饰象耳，可为参照。
