「大明宣德年制」六字楷书款来源：五觉斋旧藏有明一代，为中国数千年来造铜又一巅峰。造像一路，永宣称首，文房一路，宣炉为首，明代所铸宣炉，又是各代文人趋之若鹜之器，此炉即为明炉中佼佼者也。炉型重心下沉，宽扁厚稳，耳扁而微撇，壁薄，颈微收，腹部圆而肥，三足矮，为明代冲天代表炉型。此炉皮色为腊茶色，原皮未清。皮色沉厚古雅，厚润肥腻，此种皮色，最易将炉微温轻盘，数月后，其色精光内敛，泛百年之气足神完。底落「大明宣德年制」六字楷书款，铸后奏刀刻出，字体纤细俊秀，有魏碑风骨，中宫内收，撇捺伸长，张立十足，为典型明代款式。铜质金黄赤亮，细密厚实，壁虽薄，然极其压手，实为精铜所制。Lot1044-1050为同一藏家旧藏
