「大明宣德年制」楷书款蚰龙耳炉，也称蚰蜒耳炉，因双耳如蚰龙而得名。造型仿自宋代定窑器，《宣德彝器谱》（三卷谱）曾称赞其「款制大雅，为诸炉之冠」。宣德皇帝十分青睐蚰龙耳炉，将其置于书房，朝夕相伴，故甚为后人推崇，为铜炉中名品。此蚰龙耳炉器型硕大，侈口束颈，鼓腹下垂，圈足外撇，连座。双侧对饰蚰耳，丰腴灵动，活现逼真。通体皮壳沉实莹润，包浆厚重，铜质精纯，隐发宝光。炉底铸刻「大明宣德年制」三行六字楷书款，先铸后修，精剔研磨，字体拙朴古雅，笔划折叠均匀。瞻睹该炉，气韵悠长，是为传统文人以器抒意之精品，值得藏家珍视。原配底座。
