「大明宣德年制」六字楷书款冲天耳炉，又称朝天耳炉，是仿自宋代官窑瓷器的款式，颇有上古礼器之遗韵，后世也作为供奉用炉，在众多炉形中是较为经典的款式。此类冲天耳炉，从明代中期至清代早期出现较广。此炉口沿微侈，颈部收束，双耳微微外撇，腹鼓丰腴，缓缓收向三乳足，线条处理精妙。呈熟棠梨色，铜质精纯。体量虽小，然气度非凡，小器大样！此炉应为旧时琴炉，历经数百年盘玩，器身包浆浑厚，滑熟可喜，幽光沉静。款识为「大明宣德年制」三行六字楷书款，铸后修刻，笔划高峻，颇具风骨。带盖
