**菩萨结全跏趺坐端坐于莲座之上，左手在脐前结禅定印托钵，右手当胸，头带花冠，躯体饱满健硕，额宽颐丰，眼睑低垂，目光下敛，双目似未开敷之莲瓣，俯视芸芸众生，上身着双领式通肩大衣，胸前配饰连珠璎珞，衣缘錾刻花卉，衣纹采用内地的写实技法，折叠曲复，工艺细腻，胎体厚重敦实。**王乃八大菩萨之一，因发下“地狱未空誓不成佛，众生度尽方证菩提”的宏愿，**又称之为悲愿金刚、与愿金刚或金刚幢，《**十轮经》讲，由于此菩萨“安忍不动犹如大地，静虑深密犹如秘藏”，所以称为**。在释迦佛入灭以后，弥勒未生之前，**菩萨肩负着救度六道众生的重大使命。
