铜 藏传佛教信奉白、黄、红、绿、黑五姓财神，黄财神因身相黄色而得名，为令密乘行者有资财宏法利生，不被生活所逼，可安心向道，特赐予行者财利丰足。黄财神在密宗教法中，属于财神也是护法神，相传释迦牟尼佛在灵鹫山讲大般若经时，各方妖魔前来搅扰，不仅让整座山崩塌，还以碎石攻击释尊。当时黄财神现身保护，使得闻法比丘安然无恙，后释迦牟尼佛嘱黄财神皈依佛法，帮助一切贫苦众生，遂成为大护法神。 此尊刻画的是黄财神的经典形象：头戴五叶宝冠，矮小凸腹，双臂劲力，右手持布拉噶如意宝，左手握着吐宝鼬，周身珠宝饰品多处嵌各色宝石。左足屈盘，右足下伸，踏海螺宝，以如意姿安座于莲花月轮之上。此尊财神的造型并不特别夸张，忿怒相与凸腹都比较收敛，整体造型紧凑，比例适中，偏头扭腰的动势、头后拱起的天衣飘带更添一分生动自然。
