铜 忿怒莲师是莲花生大士八种变化身之一，主尊赤焰色发髻耸立，头戴五骷髅冠，耳下挂圆环，面形丰满，三目圆瞪，呲牙咧嘴，形象狰狞恐怖，凸显了莲师降魔时候的威武雄姿。上身着刻花交领大袍，项系长蛇链及鲜人头鬘，双臂外展，袍口宽大，迎风飞舞，右手持金刚杵，左手持长蛇索，左展站立在邪魔之上，姿态颇具动感，生动表现了大师护持佛法时候的威猛精进。下承单层覆莲座，莲瓣扁平，样式简洁，常在藏东风格造像中见到。整像工艺质朴，造型生动写实，是明代西藏地区莲花生大师造像中的精品。
