Attributed to Charles Dickinson Langley (1799-1873) A grey and pointer in a landscape oil on canvas 50.5 x 61cm Condition report: Covered with a layer of discoloured varnish. The canvas has been lined. There are several small surface abrasions to the centre of the sky. There are areas where the paint has been overcleaned and the paint has become rather thin. Under UV light, there is a line of retouching apparent to the background following the horse's belly. There are a couple of other minor small spots of retouching elsewhere. From a private collection.
