A GILT COPPER ALLOY FIGURE OF WHITE TARA, 18TH-19TH CENTURY Tibet, 18th-19th century. Cast seated in lalitasana on a sealed double-lotus base, the right foot resting on a lotus and the left leg folded, the dhoti incised with floral decorations, richly adorned in beaded jewelry inlaid with coral and turquoise, flanked by two lotus flowers coming to full bloom above the shoulders, the serene face with downcast eyes and a subtle smile, the high chignon surmounted by an elaborate tiara. Condition: Good condition with old wear, some inlays lost, a small loss to the raised hand, few minuscule nicks, the base sealed. Provenance: Hungarian private collection.
