A 'BUDDHA'S HAND' JADEITE PENDANT, QING DYNASTY China, 19th century. Carved as a finger citron, known as 'Buddha's hand', growing from a leafy vine with three lingzhi on top, a 'natural' opening between the vine and fruit allowing for suspension as a pendant. The slightly translucent stone of a pale celadon tone with splashes of apple green and milky white inclusions. Provenance: From a noted French private collection. Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear, few minuscule nicks.
