Painted in underglaze blue on the show side with floral designs surrounded by a border of radiating wide and narrow lappets enclosing diverse flowering plants. The backside with stylized floral sprays and a mark within a double circle. Condition: Good condition with expected wear, fritting to rim and a small chip. Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by a third-generation member of the Holzapfel family after 1995 and has remained in the family ever since.
