A MIXED LOT OF 58 MEXICAN SPINDLE WHORLS Stone and ceramic spindle whorls, collected in the Teotihuacan valley, dated to the Pre-Colombian (before 1492) as the Aztec period (1428-1521). Some of them decorated with incised and carved ornaments. Amongst of simple geometric decorations, motifs of cloud and wave-like scrolls, sun disks and possibly hummingbird can be recognized. One black whorl with the date of Four Monkey. Condition: Good condition with traces of age and wear. Provenance: Private collection of a German artist and collector living in Southeast Asia. Weight: from 1.7 g to 21.7 g Dimensions: Diameter from 1.7 cm to 3.6 cm
