PRE-COLUMBIAN FIGURE OF A CONCERNED MAN Teotihuacan Valley, Pre-Columbian (before 1492). Pottery figurine of "sheep faced" standing man. The body is nude and the only decorations are disc-like earspools and a tall headpiece with a wide turban-like band. The figure resembles examples found in Colima culture. The man holds his chin with his left arm and it is hard to avoid the impression that he is really concerned about what to do with the prolongated object held in his right hand. Traces of red pigment visible. Condition: Good condition with traces of age and wear. Provenance: Private collection of a German artist and collector living in Southeast Asia. Weight: 109 g Dimensions: Height 13.8 cm
