A Chinese Blue and White Vase and Cover Of ovoid form, rising from a flat base to a wide shoulder with short straight neck, decorated in shades of underglaze blue, the body painted with a continuous scene of a lady being transported in a canopied wheeled chair, one attendant moving the vehicle, the other bearing a flag, accompanied by a man on horseback, surrounded by plants and rockwork, the flattened cover with two young boys holding sprigs of foliage aloft to the top, the sides with a mountain design, the glazed base with a double circle in underglaze blue.
