David Woodlock (1842-1929) 'A cottage garden in the Midlands' signed 'D Woodlock' l.l., inscribed with title on artist's label verso, watercolour 49 x 74cm Condition report: Some light discolouration to the paper. The colours have faded. A tiny speck of surface abrasion top left. A little dirt visible on the bare patch of sky in top right corner. There may be a couple of spots of foxing, but it is difficult to tell due to the very busy design of the painting and these are by no means obvious. Not seen outside of glazed frame.
