The support and paint layers are in a good condition overall. Above the house at the centre of the composition is an area of slightly matte paint with a purple hue. It is possible that this is a reworking by the artist rather than later overpaint, there are light touches of the same colour paint in the tree to the left of this area. The varnish is slightly patchy and yellowed. Overall size within frame 69 x 79cm
