Rufel Mikhaylov (Russian, b.1936) 'Still Life with Lilac' signed l.l., inscribed and dated 1964 verso, oil on canvas 100 x 69cm Condition report: Oil on canvas which is unlined. The canvas is attached to the stretcher with gaffer tape around the edges and the tension is very slack. The thick paint layers are generally in a good condition although there are some prominent cracks with localised areas of loss and raised edges. The worst cracking occur along the top edge and just above the horizontal stretcher bar.
