Pocket watch: unique gold/enamel lepine with diamond setting and concealed enamel portrait, made for the Russian market, ca. 1830: Ca. Ø44mm, ca. 55g, 18K gold, elaborately enamelled and set with rose cut diamonds, dome with enamelled portrait, probably a high-ranking military/nobleman of the Imperial Russian Army, case number 37145, cylinder escapement, golden engine turned dial, Breguet steel hands, intact. The case decoration with the precious diamond setting is quite typical for watches that were intended for the Russian market.
