拍品与故宫博物院藏清青玉松树洗立意相同（参见《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系—玉器》下册，页222，图183），均为拟树段形态雕制的象生文房用器。玉洗取大块玉料精雕而成，随形作梅段，内部掏挖为洗身，外壁浮雕老树嶙峋的姿态，梅枝斜倚，梅花朵朵绽放枝头，间有花苞点缀，似有暗香。玉质细腻温润，雕工精湛，为典型的乾隆时期玉雕佳器。笔洗是文房用具之一，其中玉质者造型、题材多样。梅花具有高洁的品质，为历代文人雅士所推崇，古人尝以梅自比，既显文人傲骨，又喻寒窗之志。拍品玉洗取材上佳，经玉工精心相材后，巧借玉料特征雕刻而成，线条流畅自然，为文房器之佳作，陈于案上，更显清新雅致。配木座。参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系—玉器》下册，上海科学技术出版社，2008年，页222，图183
