A figure of an enthroned older man in priestly attire and a broad brimmed Cardinal's hat designed for a slightly lowered viewpoint. The object originally held in the figure's hands, presumably an attribute, is now lost, but the figure most likely represents the Church Father Saint Jerome. Dimensions 30 x 19.5 x 14 cm Artist or Maker Flemish late 15th century Medium Carved in the round. With partially overpainted older polychromy Condition Report The left hand reattached.
