凡搭脑与扶手皆不出头之椅，北京匠师谓之“南官帽椅”。此对椅即是，精选上等紫檀为材，用料浑圆，搭脑略带弧形，曲线婉转自如。靠背板分三段攒成，宽厚流畅，上段雕饰镂空开光如意纹，中段镶影木板心，下段壶门式开光。鹅脖与前腿一木连做，以烟袋锅榫卯与三弯扶手相连，使之转承委婉自然，扶手下支圆材联帮棍，上细下粗，优美流畅。椅盘为独板，素冰盘沿，端庄沉穆之余兼具清雅通透之气质。腿足间置步步高赶枨。此对椅色泽沉稳，造型优美，成对摆放于室内显得端庄大气。
