此画案以珍稀紫檀为材，桌面攒框嵌独板，边抹冰盘沿素混压边线，牙条宽而厚，削出凸面，如意形牙头，腿与面以插肩榫结构紧密相连。方腿下端置灵芝纹足，腿间加横枨两根，用料朴厚大气，气韵古茂沉雄。尺寸较大，用材重硕，元素简约，古朴大气，与王世襄先生旧藏紫檀第一大画案为同款。参阅：上海博物馆明清家具馆藏，王世襄先生旧藏，紫檀插肩榫大画案。
