此种花觚造型在清朝早期十分流行，具有鲜明的时代特征。花觚敞口微撇，筒式腹，近底微外撇，平底无釉，器型周正，比例匀称，白釉纯净，青花发色青翠艳丽，浓淡相宜，外壁青花绘制魁星点斗，独占鳌头图案，绘工十分精细，仍有崇祯遗风。口沿未施酱釉，也更接近崇祯，应为顺治、康熙早期风格。因其体型较大、比例周正、青花秀美、画 法精湛，各项元素均为上等水准，当属清代早期民窑精品。
