Chinese Art A porcelain bottle vase over yellow ground China, 20th century . . Cm 17,00 x 28,50. A porcelain “tianqiuping” vase covered by a thick yellow glaze and decorated with blossoming pomegranate branches. This striking motif, played on the cold chromatic contrasts of the pigments used, clearly refers to the Qing pottery tradition. As a matter of fact, it is no coincidence that it re-proposes one of the most prestigious imperial mark, Kangxi (1661-1722), painted at the bottom.
