此炉为冲天耳炉的标准形式，口部双耳冲天，亦称朝天耳炉。此香炉通体光素，打磨精到。炉身宽阔厚重，丰而不腴，乳足沈稳，双耳窈窕，耳孔半圆似洞门形，口微侈，束颈，丰腰下垂，三足着地。色黄褐，包浆沈润，器底有方形减地阳文楷书“大明宣德年制”款，字正工精，修磨独到。整器丰满、方正，气宇不凡。
