壮罐，因其口径与底径的尺寸相当，腹体粗圆，呈桶状，故而得名。在清宫文献中又写为“撞罐”。本品圆唇口，短直颈，斜折肩，长圆直腹，腹下近底向内折收，圈足。造型规整，端庄浑厚，朴实无华。青花为饰，口沿及足胫绘海水纹，腹部上下两端绘缠枝莲纹，中部主题纹饰为几何形开光，内加饰各式花卉，几何形开光，内饰梅花纹。罐内及底部刷白釉。胎质细腻坚致。
