此酒壶以铜胎珐琅釉为地，通体装饰掐丝缠枝莲花纹。壶嘴和壶身之间有流与颈中部连接方胜形鋬。铜胎掐丝珐琅工艺是以铜造型工艺与珐琅工艺相结合的工艺品种，釉料以蓝色为主。缠枝莲花纹是我国传统的装饰纹样，盛于唐宋，直至清末，与唐代崇尚佛教有着密切的关系。缠枝莲花纹的具体装饰手法是以单线勾勒枝蔓花朵的轮廓，在串联的枝叶间数朵饱满的大莲花竞相绽放。
