This is perhaps the finest Stone Khmer figure I have collected in my 30-plus years. There is something almost alive and three-dimensional about it that stands out that is hard to describe. I'm dating it to the 10th century, but it may be earlier. Ideal size at 14 inches tall. Loss of lower arms/hands/. otherwise no loss/repair. Superb patina. Opening bid lowered.
