题识：寥落人家少，苍冥鸟道深。兰友先生正笔，溥儒。钤印：溥儒之印、心畬、竹光上款“兰友先生”即洪兰友（1900-1958），江苏扬州人，曾任国民政府内政部长、国民大会秘书长等要职，曾参加于右任、沈尹默等发起的中国书学会。附洪兰友1955年书《节录〈白雨斋词话〉》书法一帧，该书法出版于1978年2月5日的《自立晚报》第八版。《苍冥鸟道深》未署年款，通幅观感清雅而非浓重，呈现一种“白调子”，是画家1940年代末期至1950年代初期的作品特征，时代风格明显。镜心 水墨纸本
