紫砂泥繪流行於清初，作者須具有書畫的能力，方能以泥為墨在壺坯上繪製詩文書畫而成。壺取紫泥為胎，身筒直汲大度，直流嘴，蓋鈕上飾雙環， 所繪之景寫意大方，古樸自然。 友蘭，邵友蘭，為嘉慶、同治年間人，是清中晚期宜興紫砂制壺名家，道光年間曾為清宮制作貢品。
