An Esens silver brandy bowl Lobed vessel with seahorse handles on an oval base. Monogrammed "G.C.M." to the centre and dated 1777. H 12.4; W 23.6; D 13.8 cm, weight 235 g. Marks of Herman Schultz, 1777. Provenance Horst Arians art dealership, Remels, 1995. Esenser Branntweinschale Silber. Auf ovalem eingezogenem Fuß achtfach gebuckelte Schale mit Seepferdchenhenkeln. Auf dem zentralen Buckel eine Monogrammgravur "G.C.M.", gegenständig die gravierte Datierung 1777. Marken: Lötigkeitsstempel 13, BZ Esens, MZ Herman Schultz (1769 - 1780, Scheffler Niedersachsen Nr. 754, 26, Arians Nr. 597-02). H 12,4; B 23,6; T 13,8 cm, Gewicht 235 g. Esens, Herman Schultz, 1777.
