说明：炉身钵式，口沿起线，是为巧作，炉身通体点金装饰，金片保存完好，与器身古雅的铜色相得益彰，美不胜收。点金为铜炉装饰的一种重要技法，民国邵锐撰《宣炉汇释》称此法为“渗金”：“用赤金作屑，炼燎七次，水银熏擦入骨，作雨雪点子，号曰‘渗金’。”点金按金片大小可分为三种：雨雪点、碎金点、大金片点。
